DD comes to visit us over the weekend

Monday, September 7, 2009
DD came to visit us this weekend. We had lots of fun with her. Paul and I even got to go to the movies on Saturday. We saw All about Steve, it was a good movie. We really didn't do much this weekend. Just hanging out as a family is always nice. Paul has been home for four days and Melissa has loving having her daddy home. Here are some pictures over the weekend. I hope everyone has had a nice Labor Day Weekend.

Hi Traci,

I've enjoyed reading Keeping Up with the Libertos and find your tales of life with your adorable daughter very sweet and entertaining. I thought that you and your readers would find this creatively focused scholarship contest for students with cystic fibrosis (CF) interesting:

www.SolvayCARESScholarship.com

40 SolvayCARES Scholarship recipients, one of whom will be named the 2009 Thriving Student Achiever, were selected to receive $2,500 for use during the academic year. As a special recognition for the amazing achievements of this year’s scholarship applicants, every eligible 2009 applicant was honored with a $500 scholarship. As a result, nearly 250 students are receiving educational funding this academic year through the SolvayCARES Scholarship program!

Furthermore, to celebrate the 17th year of the scholarship, this year's Thriving Student Achiever will be awarded $17,000! Voting for the Thriving Student Achiever starts today and ends October 15th. You can vote online, call toll free or text so be sure to check out the site to learn more.

Also if you would like to check out the video montage of all the students’ art, visit this URL: http://www.solvaycaresscholarship.com/video-2009.php Email me if you’d like the code to embed the video on your site.

Any way you could help spread the word about this program and encourage voting is most appreciated!
If you have any questions or would like further information, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
