Today November 5th would have been my Grammommie's 88th Birthday! We lost my Grandmother 5 1/2 years ago to Alzheimer's. What a year that was. Paul and I got married on May 11, 2002 and then on June 28, 2002 we got the news that Grammommie passed away. The next day was my 25th Birthday, I wasn't up to even thinking about having a Birthday, all I wanted was my Grammommie. Here we are 5 1/2 years later.
I was holding Melissa this morning telling her all about Grammommie and how she was named after her. I know that Grammommie would have loved seeing me as a mother and would have enjoyed Melissa. Dorothy Pearl Abbott (Grammommie) was a wonderful lady, I miss her so much. I'm glad to know that Melissa will carry on her name and maybe will be like her.
